Sitter Levels
Bambino offers Babysitters at all levels, and we’re proud to be one of the few platforms that helps younger, neighborhood Sitters start earning and building their reputation.
Junior Sitters (Ages 13–15)
Often middle school students, Junior Sitters are great for Parent-helper roles or short-term supervision when an adult is nearby.
Standard Sitters (Ages 15–17)
These high school-aged Sitters are typically more independent and experienced, capable of handling standard babysitting jobs with care and responsibility.
Advanced Sitters (Ages 18+)
Our most mature group, Advanced Sitters include high school seniors, college students, and adults who are well-equipped for longer or more complex babysitting needs.
Become an Elite Sitter
Elite Sitters are Bambino’s most reliable, engaged, and highly-rated Babysitters. They represent Bambino in a positive manner and reflect our commitment to trustworthy, high-quality childcare.
Elite Sitter Requirements
To earn and maintain Elite status, Sitters must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- Engagement: To qualify, Sitters must have completed 6+ sits in the last 60 days, maintain a minimum 50% response rate, and hold a reliability score of 85% or higher. To remain Elite, Sitters must complete at least one sit every three months.
- Ratings: Maintain a 4.8+ star rating, keep an active profile, and have at least 3 recommendations from two or more different Parents.
- Screening: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check (national, state, and county) and stay enrolled in continuous background monitoring.
Elite Sitter status is periodically reviewed and may be updated based on availability, Parent feedback, and adherence to Bambino’s community guidelines.

How does payment work?
Setting Up Payments:
On Bambino, all transactions are cashless and handled securely within the app! To set up your payment preferences, head to your “My Account” tab and click on “Set Up My Payment Account.”
How Much Will I Earn?
You have the freedom to set your own rates on Bambino!
When Will I Receive Payment?
Get paid effortlessly after each sit. Parents will confirm and complete your payment, which will then be automatically deposited into your account within 2-5 business days.
How old do I have to be to join Bambino?
To join our Bambino community, you need to be at least 13 years old. For those under 18, we’ll just need a thumbs-up from your parent or guardian.
